Product Owner: Self Managed and Colocation

We are looking for a technically proficient Product Owner to play an influential role in the competitive evolution of our Self-Managed portfolio. These products require a strong grasp of hosting infrastructure including data centres, server hardware, and connectivity, alongside product ownership and agile expertise.

As the Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between software engineering, infrastructure, and customer needs - driving innovation to deliver real customer value and growth.

You will be part of a scrum team where you will represent our customers and business needs and be responsible for managing and prioritising your backlog of product requirements.

What you’ll do

• Use your technical, product, market and industry knowledge to conduct in-depth discovery to break down the product vision into prioritised features and stories for product development.

• Understand our current and potential customers’ needs, and drive competitive value.

• Expertly manage the product delivery cycle, from MVP slicing and user stories to testing, delivery and ongoing iterative improvements.

• Take an active part in all relevant Scrum team meetings.

•  You will work closely with a large group of stakeholders including product management, infrastructure, system administrators, software engineering, UX,, customer service and marketing.

• Be an involved member of the product team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our way of work.

• A creative problem-solver, curious, proactive, and always looking for better ways to deliver value.

• Passionate about technology, with experience building technical products.

• Able to understand and engage deeply on technical topics relevant to the product domain.

Domain knowledge requirements

• Previous experience in a technical product ownership role encompassing both software and hardware elements.

• A strong technical aptitude with a comprehensive understanding of servers, networking and data centre infrastructure.

Bonus skills

• Experience in Domain Driven Design would be an advantage.

• Experience working with self-managed servers or colocation.
